Learners of PrAJSi (Project for the Empowerment of the Youth of Sinzénou Djanfouè) received their certificates of completion of training during an official ceremony, organized on Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Bringakro.


"At the end of these two training sessions, these are pearls that we are handing over to you today and we will stay with you for the follow-up while hoping that in the years to come, you will be able to effectively live the word "Empowerment" which is in the PrAJSi project," mentioned Dr. Louise Achi, coordinator of the project, in her speech addressed to the assembly at the beginning of the ceremony.

Continuing the series of speeches, Dr Daouda DAO, DGA of CSRS informed the audience that "this project benefits from a particular attention of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training and Apprenticeship (METFPA) which wishes to get involved in the next cohort hence the presence of the strong delegation of the said ministry to touch the realities and needs of the moment.


With these words, the personalities present handed over the certificates to the young people in turn, before they put on their best smile, proudly holding up their certificate as a token of thanks for this training offered free of charge.

"I sincerely congratulate all the graduates of the day and I take this opportunity to tell them that this project is in line with the vision of the Minister; that of rethinking and upgrading technical education and vocational training to train young people who contribute to the development of the country for its emergence, through its program called the second chance school, "said Prof. Edmée Mansilla, 1st advisor to the partnership of the METFPA in her address.


Closing the chapter of speeches, Dr. Olivier Girardin, President of the Fondation Rurale Interjurassienne (FRI) did not fail to thank all the teachers as well as the CSRS for their considerable support to the success of this first phase. He testified that in view of this strong mobilisation, he has faith that the certificates issued will be real triggers for agricultural opportunities for Sinzénou and the entire region.

The two training sessions, which started at the beginning of April 2022, lasted 10 months and were divided into two practical and theoretical sessions. Crop and animal production techniques as well as entrepreneurship are the courses taught by seven teachers. Initially planned for forty young people from the village of Sinzénou, twenty per session, a total of thirty-three young people benefited from this training.


In addition to the speakers, the ceremony was attended by Mr. Tristan Muller, Director of the CEJEF Handicraft Division, Ms. Zogbo, in charge of studies at METFPA, Mr. Akpro Nomel, Inspector of Technical Education, Dr. Silué Fatogoman, Expert in the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas, Mr. Djété Pierre Yapi, Professor of Agriculture, Mr. Fofana Ali, Communication Department of METFP, Mr. Kouakou Mathieu, Head of General Resources at CSRS, Ms. Barry Mariama, Intendant in charge of the CSRS, Mr. Kouakou Mathieu, Head of the CSRS General Resources Department, Ms. Barry Mariama, Intendant in charge of the CSRS General Resources Department.
