Implementation of national research programs at CSRS

As part of the continuation of the implementation of the National Research Programs, a series of contact visits was initiated by the new Directorate General of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is for this purpose that in the afternoon of November 30, 2016, a delegation of 10 people from the said directorate led by Prof. Aboudramane Bamba, the new Director of Research, visited the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientific in Côte d'Ivoire (CSRS). As a framework for information and exchange on the new missions assigned to the Research Directorate, this meeting gave the CSRS the opportunity to speak by the voice of Prof. Inza Koné, Director of Research and Development at CSRS, presented CSRS organization, activities, achievements and challenges in action research.
The Directorate General of CSRS was strongly represented at this meeting. Indeed, in addition to the Director General of the CSRS, Prof. Bassirou Bonfoh, the Directors and several department heads were present. After presenting the delegation accompanying him, Prof. Aboudramane Bamba then recalled the organization and strategic orientations of the research in Côte d'Ivoire. The subsequent exchanges demonstrated the expertise of CSRS and the important role it could play in the implementation of the National Research Programs. The two institutions have agreed to strengthen their collaboration through more frequent exchanges and visits and mutual systematic involvement in the organization of major events. The delegation then visited the CSRS premises. She was able to see the chemistry, microbiology and cytology laboratories and the Telecentre Willy Müller.
