End-of-the-year celebration 2017: the CSRS honours its oldest employees

It is a tradition at the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire (CSRS) to celebrate the goals achieved and the efforts made during one year by all its employees and researchers. Each year a party is organized for this purpose during the course of December. For 2017, the festival was held on Thursday, 21st December 2017 in the garden of the CSRS. The programme contained short speeches, games and artistic and cultural services. Among the short speeches, the president of friendly of the employees and president of the Steering Committee of the festival, the president of friendly of the researchers, the union delegate and finally the director general, Prof Bassirou Bonfoh. They thanked all their collaborators for the work completed and vowed to maintain this dynamics. One of the major key events of the CSRS festival of the end of the year 2017 was the handing-over of diplomas of recognition to four employees for their extended length of their service. Mr. Guibrina Barry who entered with 36 years of service, Mrs Juliette Yao with 19 years of service and  Mrs Roger Kpon and Victor Kohi who have done 18 and 16 years of service, respectively. The CSRS made yet more people happy thanks to a tombola that was held this day. Impressive prices including a plane ticket Abidjan-Accra-Abidjan, a refrigerator and a television were distributed.
