When sport brings people together, it strengthens bonds

The CSRS and CNRA enjoyed a wonderful day on December 17, 2025, under the theme: Science in motion: excellence begins with health.

After the organizing committee welcomed and seated the participants, the Deputy Director General of the CSRS, Dr. DAO Daouda, representing Director General Prof. Inza Koné, opened the ceremony with a welcome speech and officially launched the activities.

A conference on the theme “The benefits of sport and first aid” raised participants' awareness of the importance of sport and risk prevention, and included demonstrations of the correct actions to take in the event of a disaster or domestic accident. The conference was given by the president of the Côte d'Ivoire First Aid Association, Mr. ZORO BI Archimel.

Next came the competition, which was kicked off by the CNRA's HR Director, Ms. Kouadio Marie Louise. Fun activities (ludo, checkers, awalé, card games) and sports (penalty shootouts, sprints) filled the afternoon, in a spirit of fair play, friendliness, cohesion, and healthy competition.

The eagerly awaited women's and men's finals lived up to expectations and thrilled the crowds.
