A delegation led by the Director General of the CSRS, Prof. Jeremie Zoueu, was received at Administrative Tower A in Plateau on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, by Maître KAMARA Adama, Minister of Employment and Social Protection (MEPS).

At the start of the visit, Prof. Zoueu presented his institution, a center that produces useful knowledge, strategic data, and statistical analysis tools to address societal issues.

Discussions focused primarily on two experimental research initiatives—the Taabo HDSS and the Bringakro farm school—and the opportunities they offer for the MEPS.

The discussions were fruitful; the Minister of Employment and Social Protection opened up new avenues for collaboration that had not yet been explored. He expressed his desire to organize a second working session to present proposals for modeling the frameworks discussed, with a view to putting this collaboration between the Swiss Center and his ministry into practice.

The Director General of the CSRS said he was very satisfied with this visit and deeply honored by the attention and time the Minister had devoted to his institution.

This series of working visits, which Prof. Zoueu has initiated since taking office on July 1, demonstrates a clear commitment and ambition to establish and/or strengthen strategic partnerships in order to contribute in a highly pragmatic manner to the sustainable development of Côte d’Ivoire and sub-Saharan Africa.

The CSRS delegation consisted of Prof. Jérémie T. ZOUEU, Director General; Dr. Daouda DAO, Director of Research and Development; Dr. Bognan KONE, Associate Researcher; and Ms. Ange KONE, Communications Manager.
