A CSRS delegation led by Prof. Jérémie T. Zoueu, Director General of the CSRS, paid an institutional visit on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, to the Institut Pasteur of Côte d'Ivoire (IPCI) at its headquarters in Adiopodoumé.

This visit is part of the new Director General’s commitment to strengthening cooperative relations between the two neighboring institutions, taking stock of existing collaborations, and exploring new partnership opportunities in areas of mutual interest.

The meeting began with welcoming remarks from the Director General of the Pasteur Institute of Côte d’Ivoire, Prof. Meité Sindou, who praised this initiative.

This was followed by an introduction of the members of both delegations, allowing participants to gain a better understanding of each person’s areas of expertise and responsibilities.

Discussions focused in particular on the current state of cooperation between the CSRS and the IPCI, potential avenues for collaboration, and the need to review and update the existing partnership agreement to adapt it to the current challenges in scientific research and development.

Taking the floor, Professor Jérémie T. ZOUEU expressed his hope that the CSRS and the IPCI would jointly undertake large-scale projects capable of generating concrete results for the benefit of the communities.

The visit took place in a spirit of cordiality, openness, and strengthening of institutional relations.
