An event led by Prof. Benjamin KOUDOU of the CSRS Research and Development Department (DRD) was held from Tuesday November 07 to Wednesday November 09 at the Ivory Trade Center in Abidjan, within the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire.

The first day's activities focused on reducing the incidence of malaria in urban areas and promoting bio-pesticides for sustainable control of malaria vectors, while preserving the balance of the ecosystem. A highlight of the event was the presence of the Senior Program Officer of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Mr. David Malone.

The second day was dedicated to the presentation of entomological and epidemiological results, as well as the disclosure of motion detector data.

Under the guidance of the CSRS Director of Research and Development (DRD), Prof. Benjamin KOUDOU, the participants, including Drs Seynude DAGNON, MORO Affloué Cécile, Paul KREZANOSKI, Edi Constant, Behi Fodjo, Sadia Christabelle, and M. Assienin César, Mr SORO Dramane, Misses YAO Laurence and Lisro Emmanuelle, Mr and Mr ASSIENIN César, continued their exchanges to reinforce the fight against malaria.

The constant presence of the Senior Program Officer of the BILL & MELINDA GATES Foundation, Mr. David Malone, underlined the importance of this collaboration in the search for sustainable solutions to this disease.

A workshop rich in innovative ideas in the fight against malaria.

The conclusion of the workshop on new themes in the fight against malaria was marked by a significant gesture. Professor Benjamin KOUDOU, Director of Research and Development at CSRS, presented a traditional outfit to Mr. David Malone, Senior Program Officer of the BILL & MELINDA GATES Foundation. This symbolic act underlines the value of collaboration and commitment to the fight against malaria.
