On Monday, January 09, at the Norbert Béhi room, during the first monthly meeting of the year 2023, the CSRS Board of Directors surrounded by all its employees, officially welcomed the high level delegation from Switzerland.

This delegation was composed of Professor Jürg Utzinger, Executive Director of the Swiss TPH, the new President of the Board of Governors of the Swiss TPH, Mrs. Eva Herzog and Mr. Mathias Kronig, Administrative and Financial Director of the said institution.

Just before listing the visits already made (Adiopodoumé site and the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny) and those to be made, i.e., the vector control facilities of the CSRS in Tiassalé, as well as their health and demographic surveillance system in Taabo in order to examine more closely the research carried out on subjects such as malaria and Buruli ulcer, the members of the Swiss delegation, through Prof. Jürg UTZINGER, were able Jürg UTZINGER, expressed their joy to be at the CSRS: "We are very happy to be with you today. We would like to thank the DG of CSRS, Inza Koné, and his team for the warm welcome and for these inspiring visits". He continued, "We also look forward to welcoming a CSRS delegation to the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute next week where, in the spirit of partnership, we will continue to work together to strengthen and harmonize the strategic direction of our institutes.

This first monthly meeting of the Management Committee in the presence of employees and our illustrious guests, closed its doors with the words of the CEO who set the course for the new year 2023 while inviting employees to remain motivated to achieve the goals set.
