Laughter, games, dancing, prizes... On Friday, December 19, 2025, the CSRS was buzzing with excitement during a day of festivities rich in emotion and color!
It all began with a big fair in the CSRS gardens, featuring games, gifts, and good cheer.
After welcoming and seating the guests, the president of the organizing committee, Mr. Djibril Dosso, opened the activities, before giving the floor to the presidents of the researchers' association (Dr. Zoro BI Goné), the employees' association (Mr. Victor KOHI), and the staff representative (Mr. Martial Laubet) for their various speeches.
Highlights: the inspiring, unifying, and hopeful speech by Director General Prof. Inza Koné.
Then it was time for fun with a question-and-answer game led by Ms. Chrystelle Konan. The cult game “Who's Talking ?” saw the Director General attempt to recognize employees and researchers—what an atmosphere !
The awards ceremony, hosted by Drs. Sylvain Traoré and Honorine Moro, revealed the winners of the second edition of PREMIC 2024 (Individual and Collective Merit Recognition Awards). These awards recognize and encourage the exceptional work and achievements of employees and researchers who have distinguished themselves through their remarkable contributions to the advancement of scientific research and the development of CSRS activities.
Awards were also presented to several researchers and employees who have distinguished themselves over the past two years through their commitment and exceptional performance in terms of national and international awards, research projects, distinctions, and promotions that have contributed to the CSRS's reputation.
Under changeable skies, the ceremony participants took part in the inauguration of a botanical garden named after the Director General, Prof. Inza Koné. This garden, which is home to four very rare endangered species of sub-regional flora, was donated by the CSRS sports club, marking the CSRS's commitment to research and environmental preservation.
This memorable day ended with a convivial cocktail reception in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
