Two months after taking office as Switzerland's new Ambassador for Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, H.E. Mr Dominique FAVRE was received yesterday, Wednesday November 06, 2024, by the CSRS Director General, Prof. Inza KONE, accompanied by the CFO, Ms Khady SALL, and several of their staff.

The new Ambassador was accompanied by his wife, Mme Catherine GRAND FAVRE, and by Joëlle HAAS and Mathilde VERNIER, respectively accountant and academic intern at the Swiss Embassy.

This meeting was an opportunity for the new Ambassador and his delegation to discover the CSRS (scientific advances, various collaborative projects with partners around the world, CSRS prospects) through the very detailed presentation made by Prof. Inza.  

H.E.M. Dominique FAVRE was able to exchange views with some of the researchers present, with the aim of familiarizing himself with some of the projects currently underway. These exchanges were greatly appreciated by our hosts.  

The meeting ended with a tour of the electron microscopy, molecular biology and chemistry laboratories, as well as the insectarium.
