APROMAC and FIRCA organized a workshop to revise the 4 Tomes of the Guide du Conseillers agricoles, held from September 02 to 06, 2024 at the Palm Sud hotel in Jacqueville.

The workshop, which aimed to update the 4 volumes of the HEVEA GUIDE DU CONSEILLER AGRICOLE, was attended by some fifty agricultural experts from various institutions, divided into several commissions.

CSRS was represented by PhD student TIA Bleu.

Mr. TIA Bleu worked in the commission composed of :

- Prof Brahima Camara (UFHB)

- Prof. Tano Hilaire (UNA)

- Dr Yao Alban (CNRA)

- Mr. Kouadio Boris (TRCI)

During these days, this team of experts worked in commission and plenary on Volume 4 of the guide, with the theme: HEVEA DISEASES AND PESTS.

Updating the guide is crucial to boosting rubber tree production in Côte d'Ivoire. Côte d'Ivoire already ranks 3rd in the world and 1st in Africa.
