The CSRS, represented by Dr Dao Daouda (DGA), accepted the CNRA's invitation to host the official visit of SEM Joseph BOKAI, President of the Republic of Liberia, on Friday March 8 at 10am, at the CNRA's Adiopodoumé conference hall.

The ceremony was attended by such illustrious figures as Robert Beugré Mambé, Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire, Kobénan Kouassi Adjoumani, Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Food Production, and Adama Bictogo, President of the National Assembly of Côte d'Ivoire, Mayor of the commune of Yopougon.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen scientific cooperation between the two countries. True to its mission of promoting North-South and South-South partnerships, the CSRS has been working with Liberia since September 2022 on a project to build the capacity of local communities to manage a cross-border ecological corridor between the Taï and Grebo-Krahn national parks.

As underlined by the Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture, this visit is undoubtedly an opportunity to diversify partnerships and develop projects in the interest of improving living conditions for populations and advancing science.
