Academic background
Dr. Adou received his PhD in Sociology from the University of Félix Houphouët Boigny in Abidjan in 2013. In 2014, he joined the international project on resistance to transitional justice as a researcher for the case of Côte d'Ivoire, funded by the Swiss National Fund and led by swisspeace in collaboration with CSRS.
Affiliation
Researcher at the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) in Abidjan, Head of the Governance, Society and Economic Development (GSDE) research group of the Swiss Center for Scientific Research in Côte d'Ivoire.
Experience and area of expertise
Since 2018, he has been the Africa One-ASPIRE policy and public engagement facilitator for West Africa. He has several publications in his areas of expertise and consultant for national and international projects (USAID, GIZ, AHT, IDS, ICTJ, ONFI, Nestlé, etc.).

Awards and distinctions
Dr. Adou Djané was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship by the French Red Cross in (2014 - 2015) and the Swiss Excellence Fellowship for foreign researchers (2015-2016) as a post-doctoral researcher at swisspeace (University of Basel).
