On Saturday 17 June 2023, the Swiss town of Basel, and more specifically Allschwil, was alive with activity at the Swiss TPH OPEN HOUSE.

The atmosphere was guaranteed by a record number of visitors - more than 6,000 between 10am and 4pm! It was an unqualified success!

A delegation from the Centre, comprising Ms Esther Yohou, Dr Angoua Georgina and Ms Koné Ange, was also on hand, backed up by Ms Lisro Emmanuelle and Ms Laurence Yao on mission.

The CSRS team manned the CSRS stand on the 4th floor, answering questions and enquiries about the Centre. We're sure this will lead to some great meetings and new prospects!

The Swiss Tropical Health Institute, which is celebrating its 80th year of existence, is a privileged partner of the CSRS, since together with the Swiss Academy of Natural Sciences (SCNAT), it was behind the creation of the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques in Côte d'Ivoire in 1951.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Swiss TPH and its partners and financial backers for offering not only the CSRS, but also their other partners around the world, such a wonderful opportunity to become even better known.
