The CSRS clinical research team, made up of Prof Koudou Benjamin, Dr Ouattara ALLASSANE and Miss Yao Laurence in collaboration with the DOLF team, organized a workshop on Tuesday November 05, 2024 at the Hôtel Prestige in Agboville.

Objective of this workshop : To present and discuss the key results, including challenges and recommendations of the clinical study comparing Moxidectin + Albendazole (MoxA) to Ivermectin + Albendazole (IA) in the health districts of Eastern Côte d'Ivoire (Abengourou, Agboville, Akoupé, and Bongouanou).

It was also an opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by the study team during the implementation of this trial, and to define recommendations based on the experiences gained for future clinical or community trials. 

In addition to the CSRS and DOLF teams, the workshop was attended by representatives from Case Western Reserve University, WashU, Agboville Regional Hospital, the health district and community leaders of Abengourou, Agboville, Akoupé, Bongouanou, the Ministry of Health's Neglected Tropical Disease Control Program, community health workers and members of the Abengourou community.
