On July 23, 2026, Professor Jérémie T. ZOUEU, Director General of the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire (CSRS), led a delegation from the institution to Nestlé Côte d’Ivoire.

This meeting was part of a series of institutional visits to the CSRS’s strategic partners following the new Director General’s assumption of office. Its objectives were to take stock of ongoing collaborations and explore new avenues for cooperation between the two institutions.

The CSRS delegation received a warm welcome from the Nestlé Côte d’Ivoire team, led by Dr. Jeroen MULLER, Director of the Research and Development Center.

The working session was notable for the following :

• institutional presentations by Nestlé and CSRS, delivered by the heads of both organizations ;

• discussions on existing areas of collaboration and opportunities to strengthen the partnership ;

• a tasting of Nestlé products ;

• a tour of the incubation facilities and pre-industrial units that could support future joint projects.

This meeting allowed both parties to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening their partnership and developing new initiatives at the intersection of research, innovation, and development.

Alongside Dr. Jeroen MULLER, the Nestlé delegation included Ms. Edem ATCHOU, Chief Financial Officer; Ms. Estelle COULIBALY, Head of Product Development; Mr. Yves SOPPELSA, Head of the Innovation Department; Ms. Honorine KOFFI, Internal and External Relations Specialist; and Mr. Sophic SILVER, Food Safety Manager.

The CSRS thanks the management of Nestlé Côte d’Ivoire for their warm hospitality, the fruitful discussions, and their commitment to strengthened scientific and institutional collaboration.
